Abstract |
Background. Human capital plays an important role in the functioning and development of a modern enterprise. It defines its economic potential and increases competitiveness, is the main source and incentive for innovation. The main goal of our article is to study the role of human capital in the innovative development of an enterprise.
Materials and methods. The implementation of the research goal was achieved on the basis of analyzing statistical information, studying scientific papers on a given topic, analyzing them, summarizing and systematizing the results obtained.
Results. As part of our research, we gave current definitions of human capital in the innovative development of an enterprise. Means and methods designed to improve the efficiency of human capital management have been developed; the main indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of human capital management in the process of innovative development of an enterprise have been highlighted. The basics of human capital management have been studied in order to provide a clear picture of the links between human capital and the innovative potential of an enterprise.
Conclusions. The basis for the transition to an innovative development path and a factor in the economic growth of an enterprise are innovation. Human capital is the main factor of innovation development, an important innovative potential of the enterprise. This is not only the basis of enterprise competitiveness, but also the conditions for the full development of the individual through creative self-realization and investment in human capital.
